Monday from 10.00 hrs till 18.00 hrs big West tour as far as Calheta Along the west coast, passing Cabo Girão, we sail as far as Calheta. Lunch is taken in a typical fish restaurant along the sea front. Thereafter we pay a visit to the local sugar cane factory. Using century old technology, the sugar is extracted from the cane with the help of enormous steam driven machines. Of course, all guests receive a free taste of the local Poncha and Rum. Later in an excluded bay you will then have the opportunity to take a swim. Price per person is 9.500 Escudos including lunch. Tuesday from 09.00 hrs until approx. 18.00 hrs. Desert Island - A day on the Atlantic We visit the uninhabited, nature reserve called the 'Desertas'. With a little luck we shall be accompanied by Dolphins or Whales. Enjoy the romantic freedom of the Atlantic. After approximately 3 hours we reach the Desertas and you may explore the island or swim. Price per person - 11.800 Escudos including lunch. Wednesday from 10.00 hrs until 13.00 hrs Small West tour to Cabo Girão Exhilarating trip with Panoramic views culminating with the awesome view of Cabo Girão, the second highest cliff face in the world. Price per person - 4.500 Escudos including a soft drink and Madeiran honeycake. Wednesday from 20.00 hrs until 21.30 hrs Sunset at Sea Relax and enjoy the romantic sunset and horizon of Funchal with a glass of wine. Price per person 3.400 Escudos including wine and Madeira honeycake. The Ventura is docked in the Funchal yacht harbour. Cool drinks are available on board.
